The Winterdom takes place from 6 November to 6 December 2026 at the Heiligengeistfeld in St. Pauli. It is the last of the three Dom seasons of the year and traditionally marks the start of the festive season in Hamburg. Lights, rides, mulled wine and the smell of roasted almonds, right in the middle of the city.
Why the Dom makes a good date
Because it breaks the ice like little else. Once you have shared a bumper car, you no longer need to search for topics of conversation. And from the top of the Ferris wheel over St. Pauli you get one of the best views of the city, including the Michel church and the harbour cranes.
